In 1936, a daring 28-year-old named Fred Samuel opened his first jewelry boutique in Paris, marking the advent of the Maison FRED House. As a tribute to its founder, the Maison created “1936”, a High Jewelry collection, composed of cocktail rings magnifying unique center stones, precious or fine, and inspired by an iconic motif of the Maison, the arch, an architectural element of the Mediterranean style and characteristic of the historic boutique on rue Royale. This motif is interpreted in different variations whose modernity illustrates the Maison’s creativity and expertise.
Each center stone is unique and comes with a certificate from a gemmological laboratory.
The photograph illustrates a 1936 ring set with a 4.56 carat* octagonal-cut emerald, revealing the beauty of an emerald characteristic of Colombia.
This creation may exist in other carat weights and origins (Zambia).
*The weight of the stones is an average value given as an indication.
