Your FRED jewel has been designed according to the most stringent requirements and has been rigorously checked at all stages of its manufacture. In order to maintain its beauty over time and slow down its natural aging, we recommend that you follow the daily use and maintenance advice available here.
Loosely measure your wrist with a tape measure and use the chart below to determine your size. If your measurement corresponds to two sizes, choose the size according to the tightness prefer for your bracelet.
If you already own a ring in your size, you can find the size engraved inside your ring. If the size is not visible, print the ring finder at full scale, then place your ring on the circle that bets fits the inside of the ring. That is your size.
If you prefer not to print, measure the internal diameter of your ring and use the chart below to determine your size. For example if the internal diameter of your ring is 16.24 mm, it is a ring of size 51.
The central diamond featured in FRED settings is accompanied by a certificate issued by a world-renowned jewellery laboratories, such as: The GIA (Gemological Institute of America), the HRD (Hoge Raad Voor Diamont), Antwerp, the CCIP (also known as the French Gemological Laboratory), the IGI (International Gemological Institute). These organizations ensure that the diamonds strictly adhere to the quality standards required by FRED, according to the four diamond criteria, the “4Cs”: Cut, Clarity, Color and Carat.
The cut of the stone determines its brilliance and only a perfectly proportioned cut will intensify the diamond’s brilliance. To be able to always offer stones which meet this criterion for excellence, FRED works solely with master diamond cutters.
The number and size of inclusions present in the stone defines the diamond’s purity. Like most natural stones, nearly all diamonds contain some inclusions. A diamond is considered to be ”flawless” if it contains no visible flaws when magnified 10 times. FRED only accepts stones of exceptionally high quality, those with a minimum clarity between IF and VS2, which is the guarantee of an exceptional clarity and a lack of inclusions visible to the naked eye.
