FRED celebrates Force 10 collection with new creations

Since its creation in 1966, Force 10 has embodied the values of going beyond courage and audacity. Force 10 owes this unique trait to its history, which is inextricably linked to that of its founder and his family.

The elder son Henri came up with the idea of attaching a steel marine cable to two rivets to create a bracelet for his wife, the bracelet thus became a symbol of strength and love that could endure any challenge, and of an ability to go beyond limits and live in complete freedom.

Today, Force 10 continues to inspire Maison FRED.

IInfluenced by Art Deco style and fashion, which, at the time, was designed to let the body move more freely, the iconic Force 10 buckle in this line metamorphoses into a tassel with diamond-set drops. A new motif that comes to life on both necklaces and long earrings imbued with endless fluidity. For the daytime to the end of the night, the first jewelry iteration of the necklace and earrings combines a buckle entirely paved with diamonds and a corda chain with drop strands—inspired by the marine cable—in yellow gold.

The first reimagines the design of the Force 10 Duality FRED Hero Cut, embodied in a graphic duo of brilliant-cut diamonds and custom-cut baguette diamonds. On each piece, the signature diamond is placed at the center of the buckle, which is also adorned with a blue sapphire cabochon.

Exuding radiance, the set features a tie necklace that transforms into a choker, an interchangeable buckle, a ring and a single earring.

In its XL variations, Force 10 unfurls its full strength—a hallmark both of its history and of the prevailing creative audacity. Crafted in white or yellow gold, its XL buckle features a pavé of diamonds coupled with three interchangeable cables. The first is adorned with a line of brilliant-cut diamonds, designed for the first time with an extra-large diameter.

Then, a cable in steel or yellow gold that evokes the original two-tone design of Force 10.Fully capturing the ultimate values embodied by Force 10, this necklace reveals a sporty chic or infinitely precious aesthetic in turn, playing on the versatility of a design that is stronger than ever.
